NCT ID NCT07531056
First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests if adding cryotherapy (freezing) to a standard scar treatment (5FU) works better than 5FU alone for keloid scars. About 88 adults with painful or itchy keloids will receive either 5FU injections alone or cryotherapy followed by 5FU every 3 weeks for 12 weeks. Researchers will compare how well each treatment reduces symptoms and any side effects like pain or blistering.
