First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tested whether kefir peptides, natural protein fragments found in the fermented milk drink, can speed up bone healing in postmenopausal women with osteoporosis who had a broken arm or shoulder. 30 participants were randomly assigned to receive either kefir peptide supplements or standard care. The main goal was to see if the kefir peptides improved bone healing on X-rays after 3 months.
