Summary
This study looks at a program called KEEP Connecting Kin (KEEP-CK) for informal kinship caregivers—relatives or close family friends raising children who are not in the foster system. About 192 caregivers in Oregon will be randomly assigned to receive the program right away or after a wait. The program provides in-home parenting help and peer support to improve children's behavior, reduce caregiver stress, and keep kids stable at home. Researchers will check results after 4 and 10 months.
