Summary

This study tested a second treatment option for children with Kawasaki disease who did not get better after the standard first therapy. It compared a new drug called TA-650 against an existing control drug to see which was better at reducing fever and preventing heart complications. The goal was to find a safe and effective backup treatment for these difficult cases.
