Summary

This study tested whether adding a new medicine called KarXT to standard treatment helps control schizophrenia symptoms better than a placebo. About 400 adults with schizophrenia whose symptoms were not fully controlled by their current medication took part. The main goal was to see if KarXT reduces symptom severity over 6 weeks using a standard rating scale.
