First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at whether giving pregnant women education about kangaroo care (skin-to-skin contact, breastfeeding, and early discharge) helps strengthen the bond between mother and baby and improves comfort for both. 40 first-time mothers in their third trimester took part. Researchers measured bonding and comfort levels shortly after birth and again 4 weeks later.
