NCT ID NCT05636124

First seen Jun 13, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests a new coil system (Kaneka iED) for treating wide-necked brain aneurysms, which are bulging blood vessels that can rupture. Researchers will enroll 50 patients and follow them for 18 months to see how well the coils block blood flow to the aneurysm, how many coils are needed, and if there are serious side effects. The goal is to find a safe and cost-effective way to manage these aneurysms.
