First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether face masks containing kaempferol, a plant compound, can improve skin hydration, elasticity, and wrinkles. Sixty women aged 25 to 60 will use either a kaempferol mask or a hyaluronic acid mask. Researchers will measure skin changes over time to see if kaempferol offers any extra benefits.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

Kaempferol-containing facial mask

What this could lead to

If it works, this could point toward a natural ingredient for improving skin hydration and reducing wrinkles.

What could go wrong

This is a small, early study with only 60 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. It also compares kaempferol to hyaluronic acid, which is already known to help skin.
