New diabetes drug JY09 takes on dulaglutide in major trial

Summary
This study tests whether a new drug called JY09 works better than an existing drug, dulaglutide, for people with type 2 diabetes that is not well controlled by metformin alone. About 600 adults will receive either JY09 or dulaglutide added to their metformin. The main goal is to see how much blood sugar levels (HbA1c) drop after 26 weeks of treatment.
