Berry boost: juçara supplement may ease Post-Workout muscle pain
NCT ID NCT07584460
First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether a supplement made from Juçara, a berry rich in antioxidants, can help muscles recover after intense exercise. Twenty-four healthy, active men took either the supplement or a placebo for 7 days, then did a series of jumps to cause temporary muscle damage. Researchers measured jump height, muscle soreness, and muscle quality over the next 72 hours. The goal was to see if Juçara could reduce soreness and speed up strength recovery.
