New drug tested to loosen stiff arms after stroke
NCT ID NCT07292025
Summary
This early-stage study tested a new drug called JTM201 to see if it is safe and works as well as Botox to reduce muscle stiffness in the arm after a stroke. It involved 30 adults who had a stroke at least six months earlier and were experiencing significant stiffness that made daily tasks difficult. The main goal was to measure changes in stiffness and how it affected daily activities over 12 weeks.
