New antibody combo JST-018 enters first human safety trial
NCT ID NCT07595458
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This Phase 1 study is testing whether a single injection of JST-018, a mix of three monoclonal antibodies, is safe and tolerable in 48 healthy adults aged 18 to 55. Participants will be monitored for side effects, drug levels in the blood, and immune responses over one year. This is an early step to see if the drug can be studied further for antiviral use.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
JST-018 (a combination of 3 monoclonal antibodies)
What this could lead to
If safe and well-tolerated, this could pave the way for further studies to see if JST-018 can help fight viral infections.
What could go wrong
This is a very early Phase 1 trial in only 48 healthy people, so it cannot yet tell us if the drug works against any disease. Side effects are possible and will be closely monitored.
