New Brain-Targeting drug enters final testing for devastating genetic disorder

Summary

This study is testing a new drug called JR-141 for Hunter syndrome (MPS II), a rare genetic disorder that causes severe physical and cognitive problems. It will compare JR-141 to the current standard enzyme replacement therapy in 86 children and adults. The main goal is to see if the new drug is safe and if it can better reduce harmful substances in the brain and slow cognitive decline.
