Summary
This study tests a new drug called JPI-547, taken as a pill, together with standard chemotherapy for people with advanced pancreatic cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. - JPI-547 (a dual PARP/Tankyrase inhibitor) combined with chemotherapy (mFOLFIRINOX or gemcitabine-nab-paclitaxel)
- What this could lead to
- If successful, this could lead to a new combination treatment option for advanced pancreatic cancer, potentially improving tumor control and survival.
- What could go wrong
- This is an early-phase trial with a small number of participants, so the drug may not prove effective or may cause significant side effects. The results may not apply to all patients.
