Summary
This study tested a wearable defibrillator called the Jewel P-WCD in 322 adults at high risk for sudden cardiac arrest. The device monitors heart rhythm and delivers a shock if a dangerous rhythm is detected. The main goals were to see how often it gave unnecessary shocks and whether it caused skin problems.
