First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tested a device called the JETi system that uses water jets to break up and remove blood clots in the veins. It involved 121 adults with acute or subacute clots in their leg or pelvic veins. The main goals were to see how well the device cleared clots and to check for serious side effects like bleeding or new clots within 30 days. Results were tracked for up to 12 months after the procedure.
