First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looks at children aged 3 to 7 with type 1 obstructive sleep apnea who are scheduled for adenotonsillectomy (removal of tonsils and adenoids). Researchers want to see if changes in how much a child opens their mouth during sleep are linked to improvements in their quality of life after surgery. Parents will fill out questionnaires, and the child's mouth opening and sleep quality will be measured before and after the procedure.
