Three Bone-Grafting methods face off in jaw reconstruction study
NCT ID NCT06661447
Summary
This study compares three different methods for rebuilding lost jawbone in the back of the lower jaw before placing dental implants. Seventy-eight adults will be randomly assigned to receive one of three techniques using either their own bone, processed animal bone, or processed human donor bone. Researchers will measure how much bone width increases over 6-12 months using 3D scans to determine which method works best.
