Summary
This study aimed to measure how accurately custom-made, 3D-printed surgical implants position the jaw during corrective surgery. It involved 8 adult patients with misaligned jaws who needed surgery. Researchers compared the planned jaw position from 3D scans to the actual surgical result to see how closely the custom implant matched the plan.
