3D-Printed jaw implants put to the test: can custom parts improve surgery results?

NCT ID NCT06297109

Summary

This study compares two approved methods for jaw realignment surgery. It tests whether custom 3D-printed titanium implants are more accurate and stable than standard plates that surgeons bend during surgery. Researchers will measure how closely the jaw bones match the surgical plan and track changes over two years in 60 patients with misaligned jaws.
