Custom jaw surgery: does timing matter for accuracy?
NCT ID NCT07452315
Summary
This study aims to see if jaw reconstruction surgery using custom-made plates and immediate dental implants works as accurately when done right after tumor removal (fresh cases) versus later (delayed cases). It involves 22 adult patients who need jaw reconstruction due to tumors, trauma, or infection. Researchers will compare how closely the actual surgical results match the computer-generated plan for both groups.
