Can breathing and back exercises ease jaw pain? study compares therapies

NCT ID NCT06883825

Summary

This study aimed to see which type of exercise therapy works best for people with jaw joint pain and dysfunction. Researchers compared three different 8-week exercise programs for 63 adults: one focused on jaw and neck muscles, one that added breathing exercises, and one that added back exercises. They measured changes in pain, jaw function, spine mobility, stress, anxiety, and sleep quality to see which approach provided the most relief.
