Summary
This study compared two different surgical methods for repairing a broken jaw joint (subcondylar fracture). Twenty patients were randomly assigned to have surgery using either a newer approach designed to protect facial nerves or a more traditional method. Researchers measured outcomes like facial nerve injury, surgery time, pain, and how satisfied patients were with their scars over three months.
