First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at whether doing jaw stretches and a specific breathing pattern (4-4-8) can affect your nervous system, jaw muscle tension, and how you feel mentally. About 52 healthy university students will be randomly assigned to do these exercises. Researchers will measure heart rate, blood pressure, and muscle activity before and after the exercises to see if there are any changes.
