Natural jambu film could ease whitening pain

NCT ID NCT07478640

Summary

This study tested a natural, sticky film made from jambu (Acmella oleracea) to see if it could reduce the tooth sensitivity people often feel after professional teeth whitening. Seventy-two volunteers with healthy teeth tried the jambu film, a standard desensitizing gel, or a plain film before their whitening treatment. The main goal was to see if the natural film could effectively control the pain and discomfort caused by the bleaching process.
