Scientists test common pain creams to stop the itch

NCT ID NCT07203274

Summary

This study aims to understand if two creams used for pain relief—delgocitinib and lidocaine—can also reduce itching. Researchers will apply these creams to 30 healthy volunteers and then measure their sensitivity to lab-induced itch and pain. The goal is to gather basic knowledge about how these substances work, not to treat a medical condition.
