Cancer drug safety tested in patients with organ impairment
NCT ID NCT07006688
Summary
This early study aims to understand the safety and how the body processes the cancer drug ivosidenib in people with specific genetic mutations who also have liver or kidney problems. It will enroll about 30 adults with various cancers who have these organ impairments, comparing them to people with normal organ function. The main goal is to see if the drug is handled differently or is less safe in these patients.
