New targeted drug offers hope for rare bile duct cancer

Summary

This study looks at how well the drug ivosidenib works for people with advanced bile duct cancer that has a specific IDH1 gene mutation. About 100 adults in Germany who have already tried at least one other cancer treatment will take part. Researchers will track how long the cancer stays under control, quality of life, and side effects in everyday medical practice.
