Summary

This study is testing the effectiveness and safety of an intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIg) treatment for adults with chronic immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), a condition where the immune system attacks platelets, increasing the risk of bleeding. The main goal is to see if the treatment can safely raise patients' platelet counts and prevent bleeding episodes. It is a Phase 3 trial, which means researchers are gathering more evidence on how well it works in a larger group of 40 participants.
