First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tests a medicine called human immunoglobulin (IVIG) given through a vein for 5 days in a row. It aims to raise platelet counts and reduce bleeding in adults with chronic immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), a condition where the immune system destroys platelets. About 36 participants will receive the treatment in a hospital and be followed for about 3 months to see if it works and is safe.
