Summary
This study tested an eye gel called IVIEW-1201 in 135 people with viral pink eye (adenoviral conjunctivitis). The gel contains povidone-iodine, a disinfectant, and is designed to clear the infection and reduce symptoms like redness and discharge. The trial compared the gel to a placebo to see if it helps eyes recover faster and eliminates the virus.
