New IVF injection aims to simplify fertility treatment

NCT ID NCT07350317

Summary

This study aims to see if a new, simpler progesterone injection (Prolutex) works as well as the current standard drug (cetrorelix) for controlling a key hormone during IVF. The goal is to prevent eggs from being released too early, which is crucial for a successful egg retrieval. About 230 women undergoing IVF will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two daily injections to directly compare their effectiveness.
