Summary
This study tested two forms of iron—one given by IV and one as a pill—to treat iron deficiency anemia in pregnant women. 112 women in their second trimester with low hemoglobin took part. The goal was to see which method works better and has fewer side effects, aiming to improve health for both mother and baby.
