Summary
This study tests whether giving lidocaine through a vein can reduce pain and the need for morphine after a staging laparoscopy. The goal is to avoid opioid side effects like nausea, vomiting, and breathing problems. About 62 adults having elective surgery will be enrolled, and their pain scores and morphine use will be measured.
