Summary
This study tested an intravenous medication called golimumab in children with active polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis who weren't getting enough relief from their current methotrexate treatment. Researchers wanted to understand how the drug moves through the body, how well it works, and how safe it is over time. The trial involved 130 children who received the drug through an IV along with their regular methotrexate for up to 16 years of follow-up.
