Quick fluid bolus vs. slow drip: which helps Baby's heartbeat faster?
NCT ID NCT07260240
Summary
This study aims to find out which way of giving IV fluids works better to improve a baby's heart rate pattern during labor. Researchers will compare giving a large amount of fluid quickly (a bolus) to giving the same amount slowly over time (a continuous drip). The goal is to see which method helps return the baby's heart rate to a reassuring pattern within 30 minutes.
