First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study is observing 60 women to see if inserting a hormone-releasing IUD at different points in the menstrual cycle changes the chance of developing ovarian cysts. Participants will have ultrasounds at the start and at 3, 6, and 12 months to check for cysts. The goal is to find the best time for insertion to reduce side effects.
