New shot aims to ease stubborn back pain

Summary

This early-stage study tests a new drug called ITX24-01 for people with severe chronic neck or lower back pain caused by facet joints. About 32 adults will receive either the drug or a placebo injection to check if it is safe and tolerable. The goal is to see if this approach can reduce pain with minimal side effects.
