Summary
This study compares two treatment schedules (daily vs pulse therapy) of the antifungal drug itraconazole for children aged 5 to 18 with tinea capitis (scalp ringworm). The goal is to find which approach works better to cure the infection, using skin exams, lab tests, and dermoscopy. 120 participants will be enrolled at Alexandria University.
