Spinal injection may boost recovery after keyhole gynecologic surgery
NCT ID NCT07322029
First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding a spinal injection of morphine to a standard abdominal wall nerve block improves recovery after laparoscopic gynecologic surgery. About 252 women scheduled for such surgery will be randomly assigned to receive either the combination or the nerve block alone. The goal is to see if the combination reduces pain and the need for opioids, leading to a smoother recovery.
