First seen Feb 10, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study aims to create a reliable, long-lasting itch in healthy volunteers by combining heat and substances like histamine. Researchers will measure how intense the itch and any pain feel, and how the skin reacts. The goal is to better understand the science of itching, not to treat it. About 28 healthy adults aged 18-60 who speak English can join.
