Mind over itch? study probes Brain's power to change sensations
NCT ID NCT07247695
Summary
This study aims to understand how psychological factors like expectation and personality influence our perception of itch and pain. Healthy volunteers will have creams applied to their skin and report their sensations using a simple sliding scale. The goal is to learn more about the brain's role in these feelings, not to test a new treatment.
