Scientists probe the Mind's power over itch and pain

NCT ID NCT07255092

Summary

This study aims to understand how our brain and personality traits, like anxiety or stress, can change how we feel itch and pain. Researchers will apply small amounts of itch-causing substances to the skin of 30 healthy volunteers and ask them to rate their sensations. The goal is to gather basic knowledge about how these sensations work, not to test a new treatment.
