First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at whether isotretinoin, a common acne medicine, changes how well people can smell. About 54 adults with acne will take a smell test and answer questions about their nose symptoms before and after at least 4 weeks of treatment. The goal is to see if the medicine's drying effect on the nose reduces the ability to smell.
