Summary
This study tests a new therapy that combines Islamic teachings with chair-work techniques to help Muslims who have been grieving for more than six months. The goal is to resolve unresolved feelings toward a deceased loved one. Fifteen adults who lost someone 6 months to 5 years ago will participate. The therapy involves several sessions and follow-up to see if it reduces grief symptoms.
