Summary

This study tests if temporarily restricting blood flow to an arm (called ischemic preconditioning) before kidney cancer surgery can reduce kidney damage. About 174 adults having partial nephrectomy will be randomly assigned to receive this technique or standard care. The goal is to see if this simple, non-drug method helps preserve kidney function after surgery.
