New hope for Tough-to-Treat blood cancer: first human trial begins

Summary
This is the first study in people testing a new drug called ISB 2001 for multiple myeloma that has returned or stopped responding to all standard treatments. Researchers will give increasing doses to about 200 participants to find a safe amount and see if it helps control the cancer. The main goal is to check for side effects, while also measuring if and how well the drug works against the disease.
