Summary

This study tested whether adding a new drug called isatuximab to a standard two-drug therapy could better control multiple myeloma that had returned or stopped responding to prior treatments. It involved 302 adults whose cancer had progressed after 1 to 3 previous lines of therapy. The main goal was to see if the three-drug combination could keep the cancer from worsening for a longer period compared to the standard two-drug regimen.
