First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looked at 40 people who had a small hole (perforation) in the root of a back tooth. Before repairing the hole, dentists used one of two different rinsing methods. The goal was to see which rinse led to less pain and better healing over 9 months. Pain was measured using a simple 0-10 scale, and healing was checked with X-rays.
