Summary
This study was designed to test the safety of a medicine called ferric citrate in children aged 6 to under 18 who have iron deficiency anemia and chronic kidney disease not requiring dialysis. The goal was to see if the drug could safely raise iron levels and improve red blood cell counts. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
